our guide trips

  • below holter dam - $650

This is the pure Missouri River experience and our most popular trip. There are lots of opportunities for rainbow trout and brown trout and there are opportunities to fish dry flies, nymphs or streamers. Let your guide know what you want to try and they will figure out the best river sections to float. Our trips are booked with Missouri River Guides Outfitter #5306

  • land of giants - $750

This section of the Missouri requires a motor boat and for your guide to have knowledge of the upper river. However, if your focused on hunting the largest fish on the Missouri then a day up in "LOG" may be a great option. Land of Giants is the section of river above Holter Lake. Our trips are booked with Missouri River Guides Outfitter #5306

  • off season trips - $495

Late fall, winter, and early spring are some of the best fishing opportunities on the Missouri River. We have no crowds and lots of rising fish eating midges on the right days. These trips are always weather dependent but if the temperature is above freezing which it often is the fishing is on. These trips are available October 15th to March 31st. Our trips are booked with Missouri River Guides Outfitter #5306

  • trout spey trips

We have been fishing the Missouri with two handed rods since about 2007, long before most people knew what "trout spey" was. At the time all that existed were mostly steelheading lines and a few rod companies were making rods down to a 5wt. Today it has become a really fun and effective new way to fish the Missouri River. We love trout spey, we have all the products in the shop and ready to help you learn how to fish with them on the Mo. These trips can be walk/wade or from a drift boat depending on conditions. These trips are offered October 15th through March 31st. Our trips are booked with Missouri River Guides Outfitter #5306
