Cloudveil's new 8x Pro Wader utilizes brand new GORE-TEX® Pro Shell fabric. GORE-TEX® Pro Shell boasts significant improvements over the previous GORE-TEX® Immersion® fabric, with specific attention given to creating a more durable fabric in a lighter package. GORE-TEX® Pro Shells are engineered with the most rugged, most breathable, durably waterproof and windproof fabrics for extended and extreme conditions.

Construction:
- Engineered with the most rugged, tear- and abrasion-resistant fabrics on the market
- 2-layer construction: a specific GORE-TEX® membrane is laminated to the inside of the outer material. The inside of the membrane is protected by a separate lining
- 2-layer insulated construction: the heat-insulation layer is is suspended freely between the 2-layer laminate and inside lining
- 3-layer construction: a specific high-performance GORE-TEX® membrane bonded to a tough outer material and a specially developed robust inner lining
- Special GORE-SEAM® tape technology ensures all seams are 100% waterproof
Five Layer Construction:
An extremely durable 5-layer waterproof/breathable construction designed for complete submersion. The plain weave microfiber face offers excellent puncture resistance while the unique 15 D woven nylon backing is extremely lightweight and offers improved breathability and abrasion resistance. 100x64 denier, 408 g/m2, 80/20 wash DWR. Note: Wading garments made with this fabric must adhere to strict construction quality standards established by W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc. Every pair must pass a controlled immersion test for waterproofness.

An extremely durable 3-layer waterproof/breathable construction designed for complete submersion. Viewing the human body as a map with several different climatic zones, specific GORE-TEX® fabrics are uniquely combined to increase breathability, comfort, warmth, and/or fit, precisely where needed most. Comfort Mapped garments often feature advanced seam-sealing techniques to reliably combine different fabric types inside the garment.
Gore® Micro Grid Backer Technology
Improves garment comfort and performance using an innovative patent-pending internal backer fabric. This new technology improves internal abrasion and snag resistance, enhances garment breathability, and decreases garment weight. It also allows the garment to slide easily over mid-layers.
