Food Service on the Missouri River

The Trout Shop strives to offer you all the goods and services you need to have a fabulous fishing trip on the Mighty Mo. Food service is no exception.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at The Trout Shop Cafe. Bacon and eggs can be smelled in the lodge and down at the Craig Boat Ramp. It's hard to resist. When you enter the cafe, you'll find that having a fishing topic to discuss is easy to come by.

If you're an avid fly fishermen, you'll spend your lunch time on the river. The Trout Shop Cafe is closed for lunch, but Craig Mercantile Company makes deluxe deli sandwiches that are specially packed for your cooler. Don't worry, you won't go hungry.

Long days on the river are the norm. In July, you can fish from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm. Why would you leave the river when the caddis are coming off in abandon? You don't have to. Izaak's, in Craig, stays open late for dinner and serves awesome meals.
