I’m what you call a local boy. Having been born in Great Falls MT and grew up in Helena. My introduction in to fishing was with my parents. It started with an Eagle claw 8’ fly rod, a Colorado spinner, and a dozen night crawlers. After graduating from the worms I moved onto the hardware and finally the flies early in high school. With a parachute Adams, royal Wulff, and Joe’s hopper I’ve fished just about every piece of water with in a 45 minute radius of Helena. Having cut my teeth on the small stuff, a break for a collage education, and getting married, I started guiding in1997 and became an outfitter in 2005. Having a true love for the sport and the outdoors, plus a wife that has the real job, I plan on rowing the boat till I’m old and gray.
