There is life in Craig.  Joe's Bar was almost busy Friday night.  The usual cast of characters held down the fort. The Craig Boat Ramp parking lot held several rigs with trailers Saturday. Joe's will be busy a little earlier tonight as most anglers were driven off the river by soaking rain late in the afternoon.  What else are you going to do in Craig this time of year?


Winter seems like it lasts way too long this time of year.  Mother Nature will constantly tease us with a taste of spring.  Like the groundhog predicted however, there's still some winter to come.  Fortunately, air temperatures will be warm enough to keep the ice off of your guides.  The river is yours and the fish are fat and feisty.  They don't seem to mind the near freezing water temperatures.  You won't either.
