Where's the landing strip in Craig?
Craig doesn't have an airstrip so the interstate will do. What else are you going to do when you run out of fuel at 9,500 feet? It's true. Check out the photos and the story in the Great Falls Tribune. There are conflicting reports regarding the emergency landing. Some say there was a mechanical problem. Regardless, Craig had an unexpected visitor Friday about 5:00 PM. There was plenty to talk about at the local bars.
Sorry, but we didn't catch the landing. It's not every day that a plane lands in Craig. With a little notice, we'd have been there.

Hopefully a safe trip home. How else do you move a plane? Does insurance pay for the emergency crews?

Off they go.

What's next? A sewer system?
