Super Series reels are strong and lightweight for season after season of fishing. Reels are machined from solid blocks of prime-grade aluminum, then ventilated using a rounded oblong design that maintains total strength and rigidity in the metal while cutting the weight dramatically. Further weight reduction is accomplished by intense machining with trimmed down parts. These reels are anodized and polished to a high-gloss corrosion-resistant Black CoralT finish. They also include Abel's famous Stop-A-Sub drag with a large knob for easy adjustment. Super Series spools are interchangeable with spools of comparable-sized Abel Big Game Reels.
