While waiting for a flight to Alaska, Steve Abel was looking out the window as the baggage was being loaded. As he watched, he saw his old rod carrier bouncing up the conveyor belt roll off and under the wheels of one of those luggage tractors. Thus was born the square rod carrier. Abels are the original square design... to hold more and help prevent accidents. No more rolling around in boats, in the back of trucks, or in or on the way to the airplane. The thick PVC tubing is fitted with a 1,000 denier CorduraT cover with full padding on each end, an easy to use zipper closure, and industrial strength Nylon zipper and a see through ID pouch. These will stand up to everything, including the baggage system.
